I think the bottom line of the shair is that 'gadha, gadha hee rehtaa hai, chaa'ey Makka hee kyun na chala ja'ey'.
The shair fits Nawaz Sharif, so well

Yes that kharr e Isa is also famous, but Quran talks about donkey of another Prophet. The prophet was dead for centuries and woke up (alive) to see that his donkey had become a skeleton, but the food was fresh.
The prophet was Hazrat Uzair (AS). Jews call them Ezra. And he was not dead for centuries, but a century. Some say 109 years. It was more along the lines that he passed by a place which was ruined and he said how will Allah bring such a ruin place back to life. When he woke up, the place was alive.

another famous story where animals are involved is Haathi and Abaabeels in the story of Abaraha

Another story of Prophet's (saw) migration to Madina along with Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA). When they took refuge in Cave of Thor and spider made the web and a pigeon laid eggs infront of the entrance.

the she-camel sat down at the residence of Hazrat Abu Ayoob Ansari (RA). That is where Masjid Nabwi was constructed. (The Riyadul Jannah portion and main masjid of that time)

When prophet reached Medina, everyone wanted that he stay with them. Then it was decided to free the camel of the prophet, and where it sit, Prophet would stay there. I think the camel stopped and sit in front of the house of Hazrat Abu Ayub Ansari. By the have you read Rasool e Arabi novel?

Prophet (SAW) had many Camels, donkeys, mules and horses that are famous.
One of those donkeys was Yafoor, who he got from the battle of Khaiber. This donkey was the last of his generation and his forefathers served many Prophets of Bani Israel.
Whenever Prophet (SAW) wanted to see someone and only yafoor would have been around, he used to order him to go bring so-and-so. He used to run and at the door of the residence of the person, used to bang his head. Whoever comes out would know that Prophet (SAW) has sent Yafoor for him.
When Prophet (SAW) left this world, Yafoor was very upset and kept running in the streets of Madina and finally died by jumping into a Well.

There was also she-camel is qom e samood sent for Hazrat Saleh. Alternate days were fixed for drinking water of she-camel and people. When people killed the she-camel out of jealousy, they were destroyed.
