While big sister Sonam is busy making waves in Bollywood, on the fashion circuit and in magazines, her younger sister Rhea is happiest being behind the camera. She wants to become a full-time producer.

Rhea started working on Aisha, her maiden production venture for Anil Kapoor Film Company, when she was 21. She is 23 now. “I have fallen in love with the process of film-making and production . I can never be an actress, and I cannot even stand photo-shoots. I would have freaked out if I had become an actress,” she laughs.

“I really enjoyed producing* Aisha,* and my father does not enjoy production, so I will be handling work for the company for the next two years at least. I already have two projects that are as good as, yet completely different from Aisha. They are feel-good movies,” she explains.

“Aisha just happened to me. I was going to assist Ayan Mukerji on Wake Up, Sid!, but then Dad had to go off to the US to shoot 24, and Aisha happened. I had to take care of the entire process. I was intimidated and scared initially, but now I am glad that I pulled it off,” concludes Rhea who, having just celebrated her 21st birthday, was the youngest crew member of the movie.

i have to admit that i hated kareena kapoor when she was new. there was nothing pretty about her and everyone was going gaga over her. and then the comparisons with her sister, karishma, who also started off looking like a transvestite. but now kareena is a completely different story. so who am i to judge what happens 10 years down the road. Rhea aint close to sonam's visual appeal "as of yet". but if it's really production that she likes, three cheers! but she looks ayesha jhulka-ish in places and angles.
