don’t you find the whole concept a bit…mythical? I mean ok God, i can see where you guys are coming from…but angels? explain please.

and now dont ask ME to provide evidence because i am questioning about them. if i knew…i wouldn’t ask.

The angels on the right and left are recording our deeds ... you only view them as mythical because they have been portrayed as mythical most probably through popular media - i.e. cartoons, etc throughout your own lifetime and then you have based your feeling on that ... Angels are those who do the bidding of God's command ... For all we know there is an angel responsible for gravity, another for electron-magnetism or nuclear explosions and so on ... We do not see them yet we see things they do ... to a sceptic we only see cause and effect ...

Angels are the truest servants of God ... Man only aspires to become like them in their consistency and perfection in worship ...

Logically if we see a king with 10 ships and then another with 100 ships we automatically conclude the one with 100 ships is the greater of the two ... So how meaningful would it be to have a God with no such angels as servants?

Furthermore the angels that are with us are set as monitors taking down out account on a daily basis minute in minute out ...

Let me make it easy for you.

There are no 'front' and behind 'angels'. Stop getting religious information from chipkoo uncles at bus stops.

SO that leaves us with two angels, one by your right side and one by your left (they are not sitting on your shoulders, please avoid that chipkoo uncle who is telling you all this. I can bet that he also putting his hand on your shoulder to tell you where that angel is sitting).

in your case however, right side angel retired long ago. He was bored to death because of lack of work. So in your case, you just have one .

There is a hadith I read that there are actually 5 angels in the front, back and sides of human beings for our protection. The hadith stated that if those angels were not there, then, Jins would play with us like children play with toys. WallahuAlam.

I am asking it from a philosophical and logical point of view. An omnipresent, omniscient God is not suppose to need any help or assistance for doing anything then why the concept of angels?

I want to clarify that I am not arguing anything. This actually made me go and research what I had merely read and mostly heard from prominent scholars in the past. The intention was to make us aware of what we may not know.

I know that I am not fully qualified or aware of everything that is in Islam and if there is something new I find, I take it with open heart. For an example, I recently came to know about Hijama. I admit, I had never ever heard of it in my whole life so far.
