Dan Brown’s book Angels and Demons is awsome book and its better than DAvinci’s code.Anyways its movie is coming in July 2009 :hula:

So how many people are interested in watching “Angel and Demons” and how many are waiting for his new book “solomon’s Key”. And do you have any information when it is coming?

"The Divinci Code" was all time my best favourite book and its based on actual facts. Please don't tell me about "Angels and Demons" because its just a fiction and I can so write so many mistakes Dan Brown has put in that book. "Angels and Demons" you know that was the first time he was writing, so mistakes will be there. :)

i m so innn for the movie.

i just started reading angels and demons and so far i like it, and m huge fan of davinci code aswell although i didn like the movie but tom hanks rocks

i dono how he called em facts but watever that was, it made sense, and it was inspired from "holy grai" and few other books, and was based on historic facts eg) marry madglin's travel to Egypt after jeses crucifiction and then returning with a young girl to europe and getting her married in the royal family.

m not saying the whole book is based on facts, but i would say its based on reported history and it boggless ur mind.
and it pretty much shows that jesus was not God. that pretty much matches muslim's beliefs.

n am defiantly waiting for solomon’s key …
the story is abt the connection b/w washington DC n Free Masons …

the book was expected to release earlier this year … but so far no news on when its gonna b release …

Though Dan Brown owns domain for solomenkey …

Yay! i am not the only one who thinks A&D was better than Da Vinci Code!!!
A&D was more suspense. the the twist was more hitting and belivable to me.

when's Solomon's Key commin out?

Da Vinci code is a better book, BUT angel & Demons will make a better MOVIE. it has all Bond style action and touch of sci-fi hence perfect for silver screen. :chai:

Such movies normally have a beginning, a middle, and an end... but not necessarily in that order. :D

oh well gona save ur time, most probably u will be told that she was a prostitute.

but if u read "holy grail and holy blood" u will get a diffrent point of view, and if u ever happen to travel to europe and see the "Gospel of magdelin" that was found in egypt, it might make u think aswell as it does to every human being who contains a bit of sanity in the upper chamber.

I think Angels and Demons is more of a thriller but Davinci Code is different.It has more theoratical explanaion than action.Like Xeno said that A&D makes a better movie.
But Eco Hazrat Issa doesn’t had a child thats for sure.Goron kaa kaya hai kabhi bhi kisi cheez ko fact bana saktey hain so becareful.And Davinci code mein fact fiction se is tarah mila hai ke its hard to understand.And Quran ki prophecy hai jab woh dobara wapis aayein gay tab shaadi karein gay.And koii Nabi ghalat nahi ker sakta Woh bhi nabi han is liye hamein dehaan se bolna chahiye because bibal and Taurat jaisi books itni mingle ho gaii hain ke you cannot tell what is a fact and what is changed.And google wohi laaye gaa jo history mein likha hai and woh history jo insaan ki banaii hoti hai us mein errors ho saktey hain.
PS: Just enjoy it as a fiction don’t try to go deep in it

EcoShan: I know the status of Mary magdelin in Chrisitian faith.... What had boggled my mind was the fact that Da Vinci Code was refered to a better historic record which clearly and controversially depicts her as Jesus's wife. Islamic faith categorically denies the possibility of Jesus being married at that time. Hence, such statements turthfully bring forth questions like what I had asked to see where the other person was coming from. On a discussion board, interestingly, sometimes, you have to answer basic questions for more theological and advanced debate to carry on :)

ume-zafreeah, quote me a single phrase in Quran that Jesus was not married before? I will like to read it. :)

i read angels and demons before I read da vinci code, and liked it better. having studied in rome and beeen to all the diffefrent piazzas and the churches that he mentions it was kinda kewl to read.

as far as masons and dc, there are a number of books on that subject already, lets see how he tackles the issue.

Dan Brown is a pretty good writer. I found his books quite interesting … Da Vinci Code was awesome, Angels and Demons was good too, but I think I left it unfinished :hmmm:
I’ve to get back to my reading :bummer:
