Personally, I don't understand all the hooplah about her beauty. Her lips remind me of Jahangir Khan.
The work she is doing to raise awareness about the plight of refugees, though, is admirable.

PESHAWAR: Angelina Jolie, UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador and Academy Award winner Hollywood actress, Thursday heaped praise on Pakistan for its role in hosting millions of Afghan refugees and facilitating their ongoing repatriation.
She was talking to NWFP Governor Khalilur Rehman on whom she called at the end of her day-long trip to the provincial metropolis.
She said the part Pakistan has been playing for the last 25 years to host, help and subsequently facilitate the process of repatriation of the Afghan refugees to their war-shattered motherland could in no way be marginalised.
The treatment it metes out to Afghan refugees during their decade-long stay on its soil has been recognised across the world, she said and added its ties with its neighbours in this regard are also laudable.
Jolie also enumerated the sacrifices made by the people of the NWFP in general and Peshawarites in particular to offer a generous help and haven to their Afghan brethren.
She said the UNHCR along with the governments of Pakistan and Afghanistan was making arrangements to ensure the repatriation of Afghan refugees by the end of year 2006.
Appearing so modest in her black trousers and beige linen shirt with a black headscarf, the Hollywood heartthrob of millions could not help feeling the warmth of the most-romanticised Pakhtun’s hospitality and was all praise for it.
The US actress-turn refugees’ benefactor evinced a potential, incommensurate with her age and alluring filmdom, in the efforts of the UNHCR by donating millions of dollars to UN refugee agency for ameliorating refugees and displaced people across the globe.
Angelina has also worked immensely to improve the otherwise appalling living of refugees in Africa.
Accompanied by UNHCR representative in Pakistan Guenet Guebre Christos, UNHCR deputy representative Michael Zwack and UNHCR sub-office Peshawar head Kedar Neupane, Angelina remained with the governor for some time and discussed various matters pertaining to the welfare of the Afghan refugees residing in NWFP and FATA.
Secretary SAFRON Sajid Husain Chatta, Principal Secretary to Governor Brig (Retd) Asad Munir and Commissioner Afghan Refugees Jamshedul Hasan were also present on the occasion.
The governor, while welcoming the distinguished guest, appreciated her humanitarian services particularly her role in mitigating the suffering of the refugees world over.
He said that the people of NWFP provided shelter to the Afghan refugees purely on humanitarian grounds “and even today millions of Afghan refugees continue to reside in NWFP as well as in FATA.”
After upstaging everyone in the gathering at the nineteenth-century sprawling Governor’s House, the UN Goodwill Ambassador returned to the lone five star hotel of the City after a hectic day of making whirlwind visits to the refugee facilities around the Peshawar valley.
Earlier, after arriving at the City Angelina Jolie drove straight to Kacha Garhi Repatriation Centre situated on Jamrud Road.
She also visited the IRIS Validation Centre in Hayatabad and went round various sections of the centre and observed as to how the process of verification and repatriation of the Afghan refugees is being carried out.
