Android

The most buggy OS I have ever used. The experience is like using Windows from the past and crashing many times. Its as if Google wanted me to recall the past.

Re: Android

haha, where were you using it? phone or tablet?

Re: Android

Phones, tablets, and the emulator.

I have used 1.x , 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 and played with 4.0 via emulator.

Re: Android

I have no qualms about my android smart phone.

Re: Android

andriod sucks. i mean i am in IT field but i still find it a piece of junk compare to iOS or MSFT new mobile OS. Probably in next 5 years they will finalized some version with less bugs.
By the way what’s up with the gay names like ice cream and donut ?

i had to use Galaxy S2 for a week.. oh man.. what a piece of crap software & phone it self.. Thank God i receive my new iphone 4s, back in heaven.

Re: Android

android is one of the best os at the moment, because android runs on different h/ws and still stable and compatible. i can expect android more stable in next few years.

in case of apple, they are using own h/w and s/w, so they are not facing compatibility issues.

Re: Android

would you like to mention your annoyance?

Re: Android

I personally haven’t had any trouble on the Sony phone and ASUS tablet that I have running Android.

Re: Android

I am using Android smart phone too, and it works fine.

Re: Android

You guys must be using the cheap Chinese tablets/phones. I’ve had the “pleasure” of testing a few of those and I would’ve agreed with all the above if it wasn’t for some other cool ones I played with.
I’ve been using Android for over 2 yrs now and it just flies. I have also used iOS and i do agree it has a good flow but Android holds its own. Apple makes the iOS for 2 devices and they do well. Android is ported to more devices than there are stars (exaggerate much?) and its still a pleasure to use and customize.

Re: Android

Again - you are being my favorite now .. :stuck_out_tongue:

Re: Android

I’ve never ever had an issue with my android, its the rubbishy iPhones I have an issue with. I’ve had android for a couple of years now and it is honestly such a smooth, versatile system, plus it has waaaay more features than apple products do

Re: Android

smooth and android :hehe:

Re: Android

I have a windows phone and that thing lacks features compared to iOS, when we know iOS is a closed system to begin with. I didn’t like the android on the tablet ( i guess i was asking for more productivity), but I am getting an android phone soon. Then, I can say if I like the features or not, but it seems that android has the important programs that I loved on iOS.

Re: Android

Since Android has a cheap quality, open source, and buggy and has bad development tools, that will cause it to be successful in Pakistan.

Re: Android

^ & in the world.

Re: Android

I have been into mobiles some time now and I really think the most user friendly OS on a mobile is of Win 7.5 right now. Ofcourse its a long way from being a complete UI but its almost there. Plus who ever has used it among my several friends and family members, they have one say unique, the simplicity of the UI (And on various mobile units, from LG to HTC or now nokia.)
Android is exceptionally power hungry. We all know that. I guess winmo 8 is going to beat the crap outa other OS around. Lets see.

Re: Android

I think the most user friendly is iOS. The number of useful apps does count, since win 7 is behind on it. Windows 7 phone is not really offering anything as it doesn’t run flash or even open many file formats on the web, which are opened by iOS.

I don’t know why microsoft dropped the ball on this one, as they have show that they can be creative like with their xbox. I think perhaps steve ballmer needs to be kicked on his butt so a new person takes over the company.

Re: Android

I dont think another Windows vs OSX battle will happen…

Re: Android

Why would WP7 care about flash when Adobe themselves said they have dropped development for it? lol Its all about HTML5 now. WP7 is taking time as it needs to be polished to work with Xbox and Office and Windows.
