Is it a regular streaming box? I am assuming that it’s like roku where you can add private channels. Is that right?

I’m very new to this but I think what you are saying is correct.

I am not sure how many channels there are on roku but on xbmc/kodi there are thousands of different channels to stream. I can see movies that are still in the theaters. All the TV episodes including HBO shows are there. There are also some urdu/hindi channels like tvdramaonline and the likes there that could be added to watch TV programs from Pakistan.
