and I absolutely love it!!!

but I haven’t figured out completely how to use it.
the box was used before so TVAddon is on it but that’s all I’ve used so far…dunno how to enhance, grow or get other stuff on it.

Is it a regular streaming box? I am assuming that it's like roku where you can add private channels. Is that right?

Isnt miracast which replaces the need of a hdmi cable and can connect to your TV using wifi?

I am not sure how many channels there are on roku but on xbmc/kodi there are thousands of different channels to stream. I can see movies that are still in the theaters. All the TV episodes including HBO shows are there. There are also some urdu/hindi channels like tvdramaonline and the likes there that could be added to watch TV programs from Pakistan.

I am sure you should be able to watch the episodes of shows that they have. Dont know about live TV. All these channels Disney, nick, nickjr, HBO are very strict about streaming.

I've noticed that there are several live channels streaming....I've seen the following offered but haven't watch them yet:

  • BBC
  • CNN -Al Jazeera
  • Disney
  • History
  • Nat'l Geo
  • Animal Planet
  • Planet Earth

and several more.....

mahool.....all the shows broadcast on Disney and Nickelodeon are available to watch.....

And TLK.....as for your muft-khori wala comment......do a brief study of how much you have paid cable companies in your lifetime.....tell me if you are not floored by the amount you come up with. I simply cannot justify the expenditure. I'd rather have a one-time cost and maintain the unlimited internet access that I need to have at home anyway for work.

Wese we don’t have cable or dish, just Netflix and Hulu plus subscriptions. But I want to know not about Kodi that Joel talked about

@TLK bhai. You can get Kodi on Android and windows. Not sure you if you can get it on apple without jail breaking it. I think the link is kodi.tv. There are linux boxes out there that you can get for about $100 that have kodi installed on it. Which is how jadoo and btv work.

I have downloaded Kodi, few weeks ago. It’s that the videos the channels that are available are not what I found listed in she of the forums as best channels available through Kodi.

I think that Kodi comes when some channels, just like Roku - but you can add more channels to it, just like you can in Roku. But Kodi’s interface is not very user friendly

I think the best repo to add is superrepo. Use this guide and you should be able to add quite a few channels if you havent already installed it.
