So after OS update to 4.4.3 on Google Nexus 4 a lot of my apps have started crashing as soon as I start them and it includes a lot of Google apps.
Please tell me I am not the only on. Share the pain … Hugs may be …
BTW I checked out Google forums and people are complaining about it left and right. It’s very irresponsible of Google that they didn’t release a stable build.
There are a lot more issues with this build. From what I read, they dropped the FPS on videos, there is a terrible bug on exchange where its draining the battery and effecting email, issues with touch and auto-rotate and lagging etc. So far Google is not telling anyone where it will be fixed.
Hoping Google get right on it and send out another update. So far KitKat is not doing good for nexus users.
Wouldnt the responsibility fall on the developers to make sure they recompile their apps with 4.4 , iron out any kinks and update their apps on google store or elsewhere?

I contacted Google and they are sending me a new phone. Plus it wasn't one app that was crashing, about 90%of therm were, including Google's own apps.
Is the new privacy feature still here? I remember reading that 4.4 has removed some privacy feature completely from the system, not that there was any way really to restrict privacy in Jellybean. Sorry to beat you while you are down, but apple at least allows you some privacy options... :p

You're not alone, there's a whole bunch of you's out there. But you're getting a new phone :) You shoulda asked them for an N5.
Yesterday I got my replacement. After installing all the updates it has the same build on it as my previous one but this one is working fine. Not sure why the last one was crashing but at least my problem is solved.
