Last time i checked i wasn’t hispanic. Apparently, that’s not the case anymore. It is with great regret or joy for that matter (
) that i seem like a spanish person to random people.
So today, i had a hispanic guy come up to me and just starts right off the bat, “¡Perdóneme señor! qué camino es el departamento de pediatría. tengo que visitar a un paciente.”
I’m looking at him like…‘UM…What?’ what i really really wanted to say was ‘Yo quiero taco bell’. Anywhooo…so i reply ‘Sorry Amigo! yo no hablo espanol’. Then i realize, wait, i just spoke spanish.
What i’m really trying to say to you people is, have any of you ever had strangers come up to you and start talking in a totally different language and they speak so confidently, as if they’re sure you understand what they’re saying?
