Really, some of you need a life. We are not obligated to give you guys explanations. If the person who is banned wants an indepth report, they can request it themselves. The rest of you go post, or if you have too many issues, please make your own forum and name it GupshupAdmin Sucks or WeAreBetterthanGupshup or TheHappiestForumonEarth or something witty like that.

Sorry, this is how we run the place. Maybe someday you'll get a chance and then you can do whatever you want.

We don’t like to make a tamasha of who we warn or ban. Unfortunately, by opening threads such as these, names and activities are revealed.

There are many forums which have nudity , profanity and what not . But some folks want to shove that nudity and profanity down the throats of those who do not share their values.
They feel power by spamming clean sites with their own filth or other people's filth and when someone challenges their power they get offended.

Btw, just to let you know, Noodle bhaijaan was posting nudity in addition to starting distasteful threads. We've let go of quite a bit in the moderation-free month but it is our resposnsibility to mainatin a certain standard as well. You can choose to cooperate or not.

The noodle posting a picture of a naked woman is distasteful and against the rules end of story.

You seem desperate to be banned. Take a leaf out of noodles book and post a nude photo.

NomiCA, there's a lot that happens that you and other members may be unaware of. We just don't ban for the heck of it. We don't like to lose our valuable guppies/guppans for no reason at all. Gupshup isn't thriving because of the mods but because of the membership. We respect and acknowledge that. Sometimes it's hard to see why certain decisions are made unless you're on the other side.

Anyway, this discussion will never end, so have a good day.

If a member is angel on the forums but he/she is sending perverted PMs to other members or mods , you would not know or see that . Then there are members who are two faced , one nick is an angel the other one is shaitan , but they both get banned because of shaitani of one.
So there is a lot which goes behind the scene which you will not know till you start running your own forum or become a mod.

CM cannot be banned because he is ...ermm CM and we dont ban CMs

I am going to undo Nomica's ban from life

But honestly...each ban is debated on and done only when everybody approves! What language do ppl don't understand. Nudity,profanity, insulting remarks, personal comments as well as religious mockery...am sure nobody in their right minds would want GS to be full of such trash! So if someone gets banned because of the above is it the admin's fault or the poster themselves?
