And when she closed her eyes.....

Listen

Listen when I whisper
Or call out in my sleep
It will show you what’s within me
Hidden deep
No one told you to believe me
Or trust what your eyes see
or to believe in what you’re holding
even me
I didn’t ask to love you
Didn’t want my heart to care
But now I feel you deep inside me.
You’re not there
I can hear the clock it’s ticking
as waves of time wash over me
**Where are you now, I wonder?
And like you, When will I be free? **
