Kind of disappointed. I guess I would see all those images of Burj and the nicer areas, and thought Dubai looked like that all over.

YEP! I used to live in dubai a couple of years ago and that certainly looks like home :)

Although, I am not entirely sure if you mean dubai or UAE? I mean rest of UAE perhaps looks even worst if you consider Ras-Al-Khaimah & Umm Al Qawain & all

OMG, r those tv dishes, f u n n y!
it looks xtemely bright/sunny and dry. i have never lived in the middle east but always picture it an xteme desert. you know like 'mad max' movie kind. gives me goose bumps.
