You know i have been through lots of struggles and couldn't go to college with people of my age back then. Though, i had passion to go to school and finish education like most of my peers did. I have recently found out that..i am much more driven and passionate about learning with amount of practical experience i have..i am in much better position then them. What i am saying is..i neva take education for granted. Everyone should work hard and try to imply these practices in real life as well.
But see, you couldn't attend school because of your circumstances. There was no "lack of opportunities" in your case.
And I see your point, we have about 4 people in my class (3 over 40 and 1 over 30), who are becoming engineers now. And they are the most dedicated students ever.
