I am not married YET but I did not go through any rishta process…He is the FIRST and LAST one InshAllah.

My whole baat paki/rishta process thing was easy/complicated in a way. His dad came and asked my parents…My mum told me about it…I had a major panic attack…my parents said NO because of some personal reasons… I kinda felt down dont know why though because I was not committed to him in anyway… His parents kept asking my parents for next few weeks I was unaware of the whole situation…Then one day I came home and mum told me they are coming tomorrow for the whole baat paki thing…and thats it…rest as they say is history…Lol now that I am thinking about it my parents didnt even ask me if I was happy with his rishta or not my mum just told me about the rishta and thats about it But its not like I had any objections it was always going to be my parents decision!!!

May Allah Pak blessed you.
