Anastasia dipbrow pomade

Hi all,

I really want to buy the anastasia dipbrow pomade but unsure as to what colour to get! either dark brown, chocolate (which im leaning more towards as it is popular) or ebony.

I have dark brown/black hair and my skin is fair- oliveish

My eyebrows are really dark brown/black.

so help!

Re: Anastasia dipbrow pomade

Ebony looks too severe and it just doesn't look natural. The current trend of super dark brows only looks good on instagram. Stick with the browns if you want to wear it in the day.

Re: Anastasia dipbrow pomade

I want one too, seen good reviews on it so far, but need to try it out first, I was at sephora last Sunday but this wasn’t on top of my list so didn’t look into it

Question? Is the brush included with the pot cuz if it’s not then I won’t be happy about it at all

Re: Anastasia dipbrow pomade

I have the brow wiz pencil in dark brown, the dipbrow pommade in Ebony and the brow duo powder which has ebony and dark brown....I went with all these based on the suggestions from Dress Your Face/Tammana Roshan (I took her online brow class).

I dont think the ebony pommade is too harsh on me personally. For reference, I'm a NC-35.

Re: Anastasia dipbrow pomade

unfortunately the brush is not included…I had to buy it seperatley :bummer:

Re: Anastasia dipbrow pomade

unfortunately im in the UK and we dont have a sephora here for me to try them out. so gutted about that.

so guess ill have to choose by what i see online.

ive decided so far to rule ebony out because i like natural looking makeup and it may seem a bit harsh.

apparently choclate is a warm tone brown and dark brown is a cool tone brown.

now my dilemma is which one to get.

for reference, i currently use the 'hot chocolate' brow archery pencil by soap and glory which is perfect for my eyebrows.

so im not sure which colour is closer to that if anyone knows?

Re: Anastasia dipbrow pomade

which brush is the best from ABH for eyebrows?

Re: Anastasia dipbrow pomade

Well sorry my dear eyebrows you are gonna have to take the backseat for a while :hehe:

Re: Anastasia dipbrow pomade

I bought the ABH brush #7](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=7) …it has the spooley on the other end and it’s the one DYF recommends. It’s $18 here.

How do you find the angle part on the [(http://www.sephora.com/brush-12-P384059?skuId=1578657)#12 I think…the angle is good, picks up enough product and is easy to maneuver.](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=12)](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=7)](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=12)

^ That’s why I save the splurging for the Buffalo trips :frowning:

Ok Thank you, noted. I will go with the #7](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=7) on my next trek to Sephora

Re: Anastasia dipbrow pomade

I have the Benefit Gimme Brow in a medium brown. My eyebrows are thick and dark too, so I'd personally steer clear of the ebony unless you have a light hand during application.

Re: Anastasia dipbrow pomade

I have ebony, if u use just a little and with a light hand like redvelvet said u should be fine

Re: Anastasia dipbrow pomade

im still in a dilemma between dark brown and chocolate! i have seen swatches and tutorials on both and both seem the same?? but then in some pics/videos they seem too brown!

my eyebrows are black but not so much that i have to use ebony.

i used to use the benefit brow zing dark brown or medium brown (whichever one was the darkest) and it seemed a tad too brown for my eyebrows.

currently use and loving the soap and glory archery in hot chocolate. so does anyone know which one of the two dipbrows is closer to that?

also, i have noticed that both dipbrows seem brown/yellowish in the pot but then dark brownish in other pics. is this only me?

also, say i get the chocolate, if i apply another layer, will the colour get darker for preference?

i just do not want to waste so much money on something that will not look right for the eyebrows.

Re: Anastasia dipbrow pomade

I have the one in dark brown .. I'm fair skinned and have dark hair at top/light hair at bottom .. you only get the pot no brush unfortunately .. my sister has it in ebony .. she's similiar skinned to me maybe a touch darker that's all

Re: Anastasia dipbrow pomade

Chocolate seems the most popular with asian girls I've noticed. Also, you don't want dark, drawn on looking harsh eyebrows by using ebony
