Anastasia Beverley Dipbrow Pomade

Has anyone used Anastasia Beverley Hills Dipbrow Pomade? It’s a raving online sensation at the moment, and I’ve heard nothing but good stuff about it. I’ve been looking to buy one for ages now but just don’t know which colour to buy. The darker shades are chocolate, dark brown and ebony. Chocolate has redder tones, dark brown is grey and slightly ashy. Ebony would be the obvious choice but I read a review somewhere by someone who bought it, who said it was dark andbecause the colour is buildable it ended up looking too black and fake. I was leaning towards chocolate, but a friend of mine bought chocolate and she said it wasn’t dark enough for her. So as you see, I am confuzzled.

Has anyone bought this, and what colour did you buy? I just don’t want to look like a drag queen (that’s reserved for Thursday nights only).

I really want to get this as well!! I would love it if I could swatch the colours before but that's not possible so I was thinking either ebony or dark brown. But again the colour is build able and like you said I don't want to look like a drag queen either and I think ebony would give that look to be honest. My cousin bought the dark brown one recently and said that it was perfect for her and it looked pretty good! So I think I'll be purchasing the dark brown one instead of the ebony one I thought I'd be getting.

If your eyebrow hair is thin and light then maybe go for the ebony but if it is quite dark I would go for the dark brown to avoid the drag queen look!

I absolutely love this product! Go for the dark brown because ebony is too dark and chocolate is not dark enough in my opinion. :)

Re: Anastasia Beverley Dipbrow Pomade

Depends on your hair color. You should try out the testers at Ulta/Sephora. My sister has thick black hair but is quite fair skinned so I thought the ebony would be too dark for her, but when we tried out the testers it was obvious that ebony was the right match for her. Looks very natural on her eyebrows.

Thanks girls. My hair is pitch black but I doubt i'm fair enough to pull off ebony, I just don't want it to look dramatic. May go for dark brown and see how it goes!

Re: Anastasia Beverley Dipbrow Pomade

Even if you have really dark hair, ebony eyebrows will look too harsh. Dark grey works well for me, I love this product, give the illusion of actual hair vs. looking filled-in with a pencil. The brow gel is as amazing as the pomade.

Sounds like a spell from Harry Potter.
