Has anyone ever seen a bride in an anarkali dress? what do you think? do they look ‘bride’ enough.
just wanted to get some opinions.

i think it's very pretty, and can definately be very bridal depending on the amount of kaam
i personally wouldnt wear one on wedding but walima i would
i have attached a bride that wore a anarkali at her wedding and it luks gd

One of my aunties wore an Anarkali and she looked beautiful … and definitely bridal. With the dupatta on her head, all the heavy work on the outfit, jewelery, and makeup … a bride looks like a bride.

^ don't know why the last pic didn't upload... but if you click on the "?" u can see the dress! It's sooo beautiful and I personally would have no problem wearing something like that on my Walima :D

My couzin got married in 2002, and his wife wore a anarkali on the baraat.
It was looking nice , as there was a lot of kaam on it.
But , i personnaly prefer lenghas.

I also prefer lehgas! I think Anarkalis are really nice for an egagement or even Nikah outfit. But I think for a wedding and valima it does not look bridal enough. I was being told to go for an Anarkali dress as well because they are very in Pakistan and people are wearing them for their weddings but I personally liked a lehga and gharara better.

Sure why not? There is a high possibility that i wl go for it but with a twist to it. Something that i wore recently for my bro's barat but ofcourse alot more extravagent :D
Many people pull off wearing an anarkali dress on their wedding and if it is decked out enough I don’t see why anyone wouldn’t look ‘bride’ enough

Anarkali do look bridal enough for a walima..granted you have lots of heavy kaam!

yes it can look bridal...it just depends on the amount of kaam and fabric of the outfit
