you can finds hundreds of makeup artist and gurus with detailed makeup tutorials on youtube. Abd the best part rhey actually suggest and reply to your queries for free. N its always practice that makes you perfect. Attendin a 12 hour session practically cannot make you learn any makeup basics or looks. the only benefit might be the certification you get !

I agree to your post somewhat but I’d also like to add that IF you get an honest professional MUA teaching you you will learn things first-hand. Youtube is a great medium to learn but a professional is helping/correcting/assisting you on the side and provide you with expert feedback at the same time.
