I’ve had this question for a while. What exactly is highlighter and is it the same illuminator?

From my understanding, illuminators are something that you mix in with your foundation, whereas highlighters are used as a finishing product. Highlighters should be applied to the high points of your face, so that includes the upper part of your cheekbones, on your cupid’s bow, on your browbone, your chin and the area between your clavicles.
