why is it prohibited in islam even with ones spouse, i dont know the reason and would like to know.
use your comman sense you wally:
1) inhygenic
2) the colon is not desgined to take in an object (vagina is)
3) Painful
4) Can lead to other health problems
5) million more ....
Why would anyone want to go up there anyway? Such a dirty and disgusting concept.. :-\ Something is seriously wrong with some people.
Because if the religion didnt intrude into the bedroom, no one could claim it as a system that governs everything in our life as some are so adamant in professing.:)
well it is enjoyable for osme people. not everyone likes it. so u cant just say tat its painful.
unhygenic(wateva) well clean it before u do it ;) :D
or if u dont like cleaning do it with someone who has a clean one.
The prohibition of anal sex comes from a hadeeth (saying) of Prophet Muhammad (Sallalah o Alaihai Wassalam). The references of such ahadeeth are easily available if you search on Google. If you think that Prophet's saying and direct commands are not important, and/or are unreliable, and/or every muslim should not make an endeavor to follow as much as possible the conduct of the Prophet, then you are free to "enjoy" all the pleasures of anal sex. Otherwise, stay away.
The reason it is prohibited is because it is unnatural. Vagina is designed by our Creator for sexual intercourse. Anus is design for excretion, and not for sexual intercourse.

point to ponder and well said!
i am not adding another question to the thread, but what about oral sex? i don't remember anyone mentioning that its prohibited. now if its not prohibited, then where do all the points that Gamma Dilation mentioned go?
1) inhygenic (helloo???)
2) the colon is not desgined to take in an object (vagina is) (mouth is not designed for that purpose either)
3) Painful (ok there is no pain i guess)
4) Can lead to other health problems (can lead to a lot more health problems then anal sex)
just a question people, don't jump on conclusions that i don't respect the saying of our Prophet or i love anal sex.
^
did anyone say it is allowed???
and its kind of funny how u compare mouth to the anal opening ![]()
Duno the exact reason but I got to know this point here by Faisal quite a few days ago when he posted some verses for me. Any way the point is Anal and Gay sex posses almost the similar punishment.
I am just wondering what are the guidelines for shemales???
It’s not explicitly prohibited.
As for the hadith literature.. here is an extensive discussion on all the narrations that claim to declare it haraam.
Came as no surprise to me that they were technically defunct. If one had used the Qur’an as their source for laws, one would have saved a lot of time.
Its funny how the learner uses the statements from scholars and the salaf to disregard the ahadith regarding anal sex, but the EXACT same scholars are of the opinion that anal sex is prohibited, and he pays no attention to that... is this hypocritical picking and choosing from the statements of scholars to fit your needs/? I think so.. :)
Another thing, he states:
*Moreover, we see that none of the three most accepted collections of the sayings ascribed to the Prophet (pbuh), that is the Sahih Bukhari, the Sahih Muslim and the Mu'atta Imaam Malik contain any of these narratives ascribed to the Prophet (pbuh). *
hmm with due respect this is incorrect. A hadith regarding this is reported by Imaam Malik (2.479) and again (5.213)
It was reported from Khuzaymah ibn Thaabit (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Allaah is not too shy to tell you the truth: do not have intercourse with your wives in the anus.” (Narrated by Imaam Ahmad, 5/213; a hasan hadeeth).
also, the quran mentions 'go to your tilth, when or how you will'. It doesn't take a genius to understand what tilth means in this context. How the anus can be considered under the definition of tilth here is beyond me.
oh and btw this guy states that the statements of the Prophet can not be used as a source of law, which certainly removes his credibility as a scholar.
my advice: please only listen to the advice of scholars WHO ARE ACTUALLY KNOWN, not some guy with his own website who is giving fatawas. Because the one whose fatawas you listen to is the one whose deen you'll end up adopting, so there is no reason to go to a self proclaimed scholar who has read a little bit and decided he is good enough to give religions verdicts.
some people here will stop at nothing to misguide people.. even if it means twisting the truth to no end.
What a topic!
yeah wally, untill u dnt have better things to talk about deem anal sex to be allowed, when u have got better things to talk about you'll realise y its haraam.
Anal sex is disgusting. If you seriously want to, nobody can stop you but the person you want to do it with, but I dont think anyone in their right mind would want to have anal sex.
Anal Sex: Haraam
Oral Sex: Haraam
Anal sex causes pain to the womand and Oral sex is forbidden because the woman uses her mouth to eat food and drink water. Also, They read namaaz with their mouths don't they? and they also read Qur'an with it.
Oral sex is not Haram, since there are no direct orders for it either in the Quran or the Sunnah. It is, however, strongly disliked.
ammar.. if its not prohibited in Quran and SUnnah then why you saying its strongly disliked(who said that).. or its your personel opinion about this..?
not my own opinion just the opinion of traditional scholars, their reasoning being because we use the same mouth to eat food, read the Quran etc.

no .. i think it shows the lack of scholarship on the part of the "scholars" who despite objections to narrators still come up with mind boggling statements like "someone is not reliable when he reports from anyone other than flana-bin-flana"
what a selective memory??.... and according to these "scholars" such narrators are qualified to pass on hadiths upon which gullible people base their religion thinking these are actually sayings of a noble prophet.

ammarr bhai... i think he meant none of these hadith and not a hadith.
and if there is indeed a hadith.. for all that matters, it's not even Sahih which in my personal opinion is still too weak a category.. i'd rather base my religion on something more matawaatir than that.

by whose authority?? yours? or a group of people who agree with you?? or just cuz the mob says so?

it would be helpful for the members if you could provide such a 'list' of 'approved' scholars complete with Allah Mian's signature of approval.

aha.. so you agree that your religion and of many others is not theirs but of the scholars they choose to follow.. very interesting confession.

ammar ji.. it's called healthy debate. sorry if you want your brand of religion to be shoved down everyone's throat without any discussion or arguments.
