Salaam Wa Alaykum,
How’s everyone doing? Hopefully this topic is in the right place… anyway, I’d like to ask if anyone has any sort of textbook for studying/learning Urdu at a higher-than-beginner level? What I mean to say is, I understand Urdu when people are speaking it, and can speak it almost fluently, but I have a bit of trouble reading it. I got the alphabet down pat and some words I can read, but I’d like to know the language in its entirety.
Are there any textbooks or reading material aimed at someone like me that I can buy online? Even material for high school to uni students is okay. I’ve tried Googling, but it comes up with actual Urdu novels and I am so not at that level yet ![]()
Thanks for your help!
