We were sitting watching TV that sits infront of the balcony door up on the 1st floor. The blind was pulled back and all of a sudden we all jumped… I with “Oh, ****” remark and the kids with “Wow… look at that!”. I calmed down within seconds realizing the racoon is behind a closed door. Looks like it’s looking for food. So, in between snapping these, one of the kids decides to raid the pantry and the racoon had the best time of his life… except when I ran after it to take his closeups. What an ungrateful twarp!!!
I was wondering … has anyone had an experience of seeing unexpected visitors in their homes, yards, neighborhoods? I remember seeing a 6 ft. long snake when I was in a boarding school in Bhawalpur. People who found it were able to kill it.
Two years ago, wife was cleaning the kids’ room and saw a small 7-8" long thin rope. She was vacuuming so she bend down to pick it up lest it gets sucked in and gets rolled on the roller. As she reached for it, one end of it just left up… and the wife was airborn crying my name at the top of her lungs . We managed to trap it, get it in a bottle and drove off a distance to release it in the bushes. Man… !
