An open letter to UN Secretary General

One Mir Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani from Jacobabad/Pakistan has written you a letter and copied to Pakistani press wrongly conveying you that Pakistani “nation” is calling the UNO for holding an investigation through a UN Commission in case of murder of Benazir Bhuttoo who according to him was the “queen” of Pakistani people. He claims he is a former Parliamentarian and is also contesting 2008 elections. I am a Pakistani and purely a Pakistani. I am not associated with any Bhutto, any Sharif, any Musharraf or any Altaf. I do not recall this name Mir Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani if he had been a member of our any parliament. Had he done some good legislative work or loudly spoken for release of 200 missing persons, against allotment of Farm land in violation of rules to ex Prime Minister, present President and many of his own party leaders etc. his name must had been known to ordinary people like us. Mr. Secretary General, demised Benazir was not the queen of the nation. She was of course queen of some good but mostly mentally illiterate people. Mr. Jakhrani wrongly puts before you that the demand for investigation under UN is a demand from the Pakistani nation. Certainly not: this demand is only and only from her political party which comprises about 20-25% at the most of the whole nation. Mr. Jakhrani at present has legal locus standi to represent people of Pakistan. As such he can not represent and can not under any circumstances plead the case on behalf of whole nation. He or even his political party is not the spokesman for the whole nation. The whole Pakistani nation has not asked “him” or his political boss to approach UN. For example, my family comprising myself, my wife, my father mother, three children, two brothers with their families living in same house and which all of us are part of Pakistani nation have not asked or authorized Jakhrani to speak on our behalf. As such there are like me millions others. Mr. Secretary General, like silent majority of Pakistani nation unfortunate death of BB is not “our loss”. We the silent majority do not trust UNO. UNO might must have done some good earlier but we believe UNO since sixties is just a semi autonomous department of the US. It does what US wants it to do. UNO since sixties has never done any true honest judicious work. For example what US wanted it did. US wanted to enter Iraq under weapons of mass destructions label which were never found, UN followed it. US wanted to implicit Syria hence “it” created Rafiq Hurrary Commission which declared pre goaled result. For another example the so called International Nuclear agency which kept on crying over Iran only because US so desired. Now that US’s own secret agencies have declared Iran has not developed weapons now this so called agency (like UN) has started singing the same song. The UN Commission if made would “manufacture” same results in case of BB which the “big boss’ would desire. If big boss would be angry with Musharraf, the results would be accordingly or otherwise. However as true voices as that of my family do not count today, but if a UN Commission is established, Mr. Secretary General you would not be honest unless you specifically order points for investigation namely; First: BB was an educated person. She knew threat to her. Then who was who prompted her to expose herself to danger by opening glass roof on the provocation that if she waved the roadside people, the queen woud in turn would get political gains. Second: Befor her coming to Pakistan she declared that a friendly foreign government (UAE) had disclosed her she was under threat from some named people/quarters in Pakistan. Mr. Secretary General it should be seriously investigated as to why that so called friendly government did not by pass this information to Pakistan Government under diplomatic channel and instead conveyed directly to a political leader. This is a deep thoughtful question. Third: A third point to ponder should be did she annoyed any “big boss” by though temporarily saying “Justice Iftikhar Mohammed is my Chief Justice” and “big boss” thought she is now value for me now. Fouth: Rauf Klasra is an established investigative reporter from same news groups TV channel of which in Pakistan is presently banned. In his latest article about an Unsung Hero who showed bravery for injured BB, the reporter has raised some very logical serious point about absence of chief security adviser of demised queen. This article is also made part of UN Commission.
However if a single person’s personal individual request can be taken as a request from the whole nation, then I too would request the Secretary General UN on behalf of our whole nation to form another UN Commission to probe separately (i) the sources of most lavish livings abroad of BB/family and of Altaf Hussain as there is no apparent visible income of both them. A usual extant often heard of but not convincing at all can be a claim that fans and supporters contribute. In such a case the UN Commission may investigate if it was true then how much is regularly going through government of Pakistan banking remittance channels. And what through recognized channel is being remitted from Pakistan contributed by supporters is that proportionately consistent to the lavish living. Nawaz Sharif name can also be included in it but in that case it is an official fact that the Saudi Government was bearing all food, living, phone and transport costs of the family. It is also known he belongs to a business family and his businesses are known. However he can also be investigated A second UN Commission also be formed to probe about BB/Asif’s Swiss account, assets, flats, kick backs references to which in details had many a times been published in Western papers let alone Pakistani papers on which people like Jakhrani appear to have no trust. The foreign concerned governments in this case may also be involved. The UN is said to be fighting against corruption and poverty hence such a Commission should be in its ambit as such dubious lavish living is not unless there is underhand some fundings.
