used to be here a long while ago - the good old days of Net boom in late 90s. So that makes me a senior to many of the nicks I see here now. Lot of young professionals came & joined the board at that time, starting out as singles, bachelors and now after the passage of almost a decade, many are married, have kids and settled down in family life. Many went into oblivion (including myself) with the passage of time, replaced by new faces on this board.
At that time, in Politics & Religion forums, there was a gang of very talented, energetic & articulate folks who held on to their political & religious views very dearly. That energy & passion was spread across the spectrum to both left & right wings of that group. They bitterly fought to the last drop of their cyber blood to keep those forums as the most reverberating ones on this board. Learned a lot while participating in those discussions. That lot is long gone now. May their cyber souls rest in eternal peace.
May not be as active as I used to be, but - as other things are coming around a full circle in my life, here I am for my second stint on GS
