Re: an OLD indian man risks his life...self appointed traffic cop?
He doesn't seem to be in his right mind. Poor guy.
Re: an OLD indian man risks his life...self appointed traffic cop?
he may have been standing there to prevent ppl from trying to sneak through before the train arrived. we dont know

*yes, he is a self-appointed traffic cop. he is seen directing traffic around the level crossing. he basically tries to stop those who try sneak under the barrier on to the tracks. it's a common sight on most level crossings where pedestrians, bicyclists and motorcyclists do NOT respect the barriers. it's sad that thousands of people are killed every year doing the same. lack of civic sense, i suppose. :(

**this is a freak incidence…he is an old man and it could have been as a result of his bad judgement due to his old age. agree?

Re: an OLD indian man risks his life...self appointed traffic cop?
what if he lost someone close to him due to a crossing accident...
and is doing what he thinks he can to stop others from facing the same loss.

yes sir,
that was too close...
he should stop that work....
if he can not assure his own safety then there is no point in continuing this kind of social work....
it is like jumping in river to save someone's life without knoweledge of swimming

Re: an OLD indian man risks his life...self appointed traffic cop?
I think dadaji was helping people out. He probably knew he was being filmed - so put on some extra masala at the end.
I hear subsequently, video filming of dadaji at thatcrossing has been banned.

true true..could be..but I wish he hadn't stood there till the last min...It looked like the scene from Ghulam (I think), where Aamir tries something like that...it was like a slow-motion bollywood action scene!

But yeaa..nice dada ji if he was making sure that no one was sneaking through...I know it happens a lot in SL too....lots of ppl die like that!!
