With respect to some of the above posts, Saudi and places in the middle east are not the only "Muslim" places to visit.
My brother just back from a two week vacation in Bosnia of all places. He absolutely loved it. Not all of it was destroyed in the war ... and it has been quite a few years since the end of the war so the place IS being built back up. If you want to see some genuine medieval Muslim cities, then I would highly recommend you to visit eastern Europe and Bosnia/Sarajevo area. I will post some pics later on .... beautiful place. Inshallah, I will go there as well one day.
These places really do need our support in order to grow economically. I understand Pakistanis love Dubai and it is a great place to visit, but there are places outside of the middle east that are really lovely and that can use our economic support (in terms of tourism) ... Bosnia, Morocco, norther African countries, Indonesia, etc.
