I don't know much about him but what I find about him when I read his articles in dawn is that he speaks about muslim affairs despite not being a muslim himself. It's ok if Irfan Hussein and Ayaz Amir do that but not Cowasjee.

Surprising. He never discussed Fiqah. He wrote about working. We proudly quote to the non muslim schollars if they favour us and we do not feel good when we are critisied.

Mr.Cowasjee is a Parsi and is one of the respected minority members in Pakistan.

Cowasjee is never in favour of any government. His articles deal with what a man has to go through living in Pakistan, specially if he is stuck in legal intricacies of our legal system.
As far I know he never dare to write against mqm perhaps afraid of being executed by mqm goons.

Caswajee has alway been pro army he was even minister of Shipping in General Zia's time.

what difference does it make who wrote it, if the message makes sense?
would you also advise muslim writers to restrict themselves to only muslim affairs and not write about anything else in the universe?

As I remember that was Mustafa Gokal that minister
