I write this just as Wahab is out. Two more wickets to go and Misbah can still prove to be a thorn so, let’s hope we WIN this one.

However, as we win this, I humbly request that NONE of us (including myself) in our euphoria, beat the drums in a way that hurts our Pak friends’ feelings.

This match could have gone either way and quite frankly, I did not see the vaunted ‘superiority’ of the Indian team show. In fact lots and lots of chinks.

Therefore please, let us be very sensitive to the Pak fans, who though disappointed, have **every right to be proud of where Pak cricket has come in one short year **from the serious issues they faced.
