I beg to differ. The human population has always been increasing at this rate. Never before in the history of the world, have we faced such crisis as we are doing now.

Historians generally agree that the fall of the Ottoman state was due to the failure of its economic structure and social structure that couldn't adapt to free market capitalism. Ottoman society was based on war and couldn't handle the new world order. Bascially, the inability of followers and leaders to adapt, change, and evolve - the same issues we have today and the reason for the continual decline of Muslim societies. You can say it was the materialism of the rest of the world that doomed Muslim dominance, but not the materialism of Muslims. A return to a stricter Islamic fundamentalism isn't going to solve any of that.

That is a mute point. "Historians" as you claim ignore the fact that:

1) Scientific research was pioneered by Muslims, but then they stopped during the birth of the New World one of the first things Europe did was build on the science from Muslims.

2) Muslims fell into too much music and luxury starting from our leadeship. That meant they developed an achillies heel - i.e. their wealth.

3) The people from the New World were allowed to travel and trade in the Muslim lands freely, that is how they were infiltrated. The infiltration was done to seed the people with a sense of nationalism. Thus Muslims from one region began to despise Muslims from other regions.

4) History also points to the fact that many countries were colonised under the guise of "free market" ... India was one of them!

A return to a true form of Islam will ensure that first and foremost the interest based money system of the world can be changed for something better.

In addition ... Though the world population has increased and is still doing so we have never had that much growth and food in the world either. There is plenty to go around. However, with the current trade laws and interest based international debts some countries get nearly nothing, no thanks to their own leaders and other countries get too much which cause waste and destruction of unused foods.
