The little girl asked her mother, “How did human beings get here?”
Her mother replied, “God created Adam and Eve and they had children. And from this union all the rest of mankind was born.”
A few days later the young girl asked her father the same question.
Her father answered, “Many years ago there were apes from which the human race evolved.”
The now confused little girl returned to her mother and said:
“Mommy, how is it possible that you told me the human race was created by God, and Dad says we come from monkeys?”
“Sweetheart, it’s really very simple. I told you about my side of the family, and your father told you about his.”
