O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allâh and be just witnesses and let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: that is nearer to piety, and fear Allâh. Verily, Allâh is Well_Acquainted with what you do. (Al-Ma’idah 5:8)

actually i was reading on this topic the other day ......n i read we shouldn't hate the sinner rather the sin he is committing ....coz who knows this sinner regrets one day n coz of his true 'tauba' he leaves the ordinary ppl beind n reaches a high level of piety ....!!
may Allah grant us the power to realise it n help us eliminating any sense of superiority from us ...Ameen
