An ayah which is always a part of Friday Sermon

:bism:

**16:90 **Allah commands justice, the doing of good, and liberality to kith and kin, and He forbids all shameful deeds, and injustice and rebellion: He instructs you, that ye may receive admonition.

Is it a compelsion to 'recite' the verse in every Friday Sermon.

As far as I remember, what I know reading this ayah in khutba is a sunnah to remind everyone on each friday.

Wallah-O-Alam!

However, my intention was not to discuss why and where and how rather than sharing something from Quran that we all, otherwise hear every week. Just a reminder yet again!

:jazak:

no, its not a compulsion to recite the verse in the friday sermon....
many imams dont recite it in their sermon, some recite it always, some recite it often etc etc....

bottom line, its not compulsory....

Jaza-k-Allah for the information. armughal
