Closer to their moms as compared to their dads (may be its not a typical Pakistani trait but still)

Disagreements with dads and making moms on their sides

High taste of food although not very fond of cooking themselves (I am talking about majority)

Respect and care for females (if they belong to good families)

Strict with their sisters: don’t do this, don’t do that, even if they are younger brothers, very protective of their sisters

Usually become matured at or after 30 unless they have special circumstances like dad passed away when they were young (thats what I have seen)

Stuck and confused in rishta matters

Fond of children and good involvement in children brought up

Stuck in saas bahu issues, confused whose side should they take

Usually not very happy to see wife progressing ahead in career

Thats all what I could think of for now. Many of you may not agree to any of all of the above points. But its from my own observation.

I don't really think there is such a thing :D Not all Pakistani men are the same and it's wrong to stereotype them.

-labels other girls as sluts/beghairat/behuda for the inanest reasons
-thinks it's degrading for men to do household tasks such as cooking or the dishes

-stares unabashedly at women who aren't part of his immediate family
-thinks women have no business stepping outside of the home or working
-thinks it's better for women to stay at home and not study than for them to attend a coeducational university
-loves cricket
-doesn't like it when a female disagrees with him. HOW DARE SHE?
-poor hygiene

My late father wasn’t an average Pakistani, but a sublime one. But it seems the offence you’ve taken must have felt it was a description of you. Not that I’m making any accusation of any kind.

Case in point. Every guppan's father or brother is not any of the above. And we have what a few thousand guppans who think so. Then you have additional Pakistani girls who think so etc etc.

Typical Pakistani men are most humble, respectable and intelligent.
They are complete gentlemen.
(The above comments are from the girl who has spent her life in Pakistan and has never come across any man who is rude, badtameez and don't give respect to girls. Yes there are some bad guys but i cannot generalize them. they are in minority.. majority are gentlemen)

- Dependent on his father's money to pay for his wedding.
-Unable to move out when you are atleast 25+ from your parents house.

I saw many a men in Pakistan scratching their private parts in public. No matter if I went to the high end malls or sadar ki tang galiyan, I always came across someone doing that. Is that a trait of being an average Pakistani man?
