An Angel Walks With Me
I have a angel who walks with me
Who is never far and takes care of me
She has been with me since I was young
Running her raggid is what I have done
I would not be here if she wasn’t near
Thats why I hold her dear
I jumped in my car I turned the key
The car started flying backward
I couldn’t stop and I felt my heart drop
The last thought that I had
Was I’m going to die
As I started to cry
I said these words before I would die
Goodbye Mom, goodbye Dad
Goodbye sweet children that I had
And goodbye to my dear husband Dan
I am sorry for all I done
I hope you can forgive me
For I will be gone
As a tear ran down my face
It seemed like time was suspended in space
Then I felt my angel guide my foot to the brake
Pushing it down and stopping my fate
The car spun a couple of times
But I wasn’t afraid
Because with her near I am brave
So I would like to thank her
And let her know
That I never want to see her go
And that I appreciate all shes done
Without her I would be gone
