I thought I’d share this with people who may find it as astounding as I do. Ofcourse many of you may know this already.

The fastest moving creature on Earth is a bird, the Peregrine Falcon. It nose dives on its prey reaching speeds in excess of 320km/h! I find it to be jaw dropping that an animal can move that fast of its own free will.

Cheetahs are the fastest on land. But fastest in the animal kingdom is the P. Falcon.

it has been re-clocked and the corrected speed now stands at 391 km/hr...even more amazing! eh? :)

yeah...even India became metric in 1959...the US is 53 years behind and still counting :D
