Ok read the whole thing. I know he is being sarcastic, but if Pakistanis are being profiled in US and Europe, I doubt the Pakistani govt can do much.

Qasmi was made the ambassador to Norway during the tenure of Nawas Shareef despite the fact that he was not a career diplomat. Perhaps he was a good friend of PM. When the general sacked that government he had to come back. No wonder he finds it hard to agree with the present government.

He should stick with poetry.I bet Mian saab would have done the same thing what president musharraf did.These guys just want a label or tag attached with them that says atta ul haque qasmi famous poet intellectual columist analyst diplomat etc etc.drawing room politics wil not help.

Sarcasm yes but he used it nicely. A good read. It was nice the way he brought the massei community community into the argument when stating, how the hamkumat is pressing foreign students who have come to pak for deeni taleem to leave the academies.
