3 or 4 of my friends are going to Amsterdam in by the end of next month for a weekend max. Anybody know of any good and cheap places to stay? Location aint an issue really. Just quality place to live and cheap.
When we went we stayed at a place called Best Western Eden Hotel, it cost us 35 euros a night for a double room. Accomadation and service was pretty good (3 star) and it was in the centre of Amsterdam.

Ok cant exactly do that.
A. We are there for a formal thing, so we cant rough it out and then be expected to be all ready suit and tie that next day.
B. I am dealing with people who do not want to rough it, in my opinion. They work and i doubt they want to rough it and then get back to work the next day.
C. I got my own place to stay, i got friends in Amsterdam. This is for some friends i know that need a place to stay.

Gay parties? Yeah i think not. I am gonna stick to my friends choices in Amsterdam. Atleast he knows the best place of cute girls. You wouldnt know hip and happenin' if it kicked you. :p

I heard that there are thousands of phone booths in Amsterdam...so you can enter for a dime and stay there the whole night...after midnight, lots of cute girls come to the booth too make phone call or else...you know what I mean... :D
And when you dial 0000 (a free number), you will get some nice music and your booth will turn into disco lighting...not bad... :)
Thats all I heard about Amsterdam...never been there...though I have been to Rotterdam, and man, its such a stinking city, stayed there for a few hours and than I cancelled my holidays and flew back to Pakistan...

Zabardast, its not like i havent been to Holland before. Been to Den Hague twice (travelled around holland on both trips,) for Model UN. So i know that city like the back of my hand. I just need a place for some friends in Amsterdam. Entertainment wont really be issue, just wanted to see what some dutchies here had to say.

Depending on whats going on, i might. But this mostlikely will be a 24 hour job. Fly in attend the function sleep (or not sleep) and fly out the next day. Will see but thanks for the info.
