I am not a fan. I think it's a very trashy look, despite all the hard work and money that probably went into making it.
I like the other outfit better, though I don't think the fabric of the churidaar works with the rest of the suit.
well they are not muslim so they can show the body parts!! its pretty hot! but i do think amrita should have had better jewelry or like a statement showing that she is the bride to be. Malaika did good, she is festive!! maybe better jewelry =/

A longer shirt and Malaika would have rocked in clothes, too. I like her outfit much better. Seriously with all the planning they could have designed much better clothes.

She is finally settling down. Amrita Arora and Shakeel Ladhak are getting married this March.
A three-day affair.
On March 4, the couple will exchange wedding rings and vows at a Bandra church, followed by a brunch at Olive.
On March 5, there’s a sangeet hosted by Salman Khan’s sister Alvira Agnihotri and director Farah Khan is choreographing a musical skit for the bride.
On March 6, there will be a nikaah ceremony in the afternoon, and a grand reception in the evening both at Taj Lands End Hotel in Bandra
The Church wedding and the Nikaah
For the church wedding, Amu’s best friends Kareena Kapoor and her make-up artist Mallika Bhatt will be the bridesmaids while sister Malaika Arora will be the maid of honour.
The official jewellers for all events are AK Motiwala. Amrita has got different sets to go with the ceremonies a simple white gold and diamonds set for the church wedding and traditional heavy gold with rubies, diamonds and emeralds for the nikaah and reception."
The celebrity guest list
Nearly 500 guests are expected. Apart from family and close friends from the bride and groom’s side, several industry folk are expected too.
Thos invited include: Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan, Chunky and Bhavna Pandey, Farah Khan and Shirish Kunder, Fardeen and Zayed Khan along with their wives, Anil Kapoor, Arjun and Mehr Rampal, Priyanka Chopra, Sajid and Wardha Nadiad-wala, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle, Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia, Saif Ali Khan, Urmila Matondkar, Karan Johar, Tusshar Kapoor and Manish Malhotra among others.
The wedding gear his and hers
Amu is working on the bridesmaids outfits with Ashley Rebello, who is also designing her wedding gown. Amrita’s wedding outfit is an exquisite white confection of silk, satin and lace with diamantes and Swarovski crystals. It will be something along the lines of an antique Versace wedding gown old-fashioned and simple.
Shakeel has two outfits a suit and a sherwani designed by Shantanu-Nikhil and they are also designing Amrita’s lehenga (in baby pink, blue or lemon yellow) Her mehendi outfit will be designed by Manish Malhotra."
The wedding planner
Amrita Arora has hired wedding planner Ravi Bakru who has organised many celebrity and international weddings. Amrita and Shakeel have entered a confidentiality contract with Bakru, which will not allow him or his company to talk about the wedding.

There will be no hen or stag party instead the bride and groom will host a party for the close friends and family at China House on March one. Amu will wear a sexy western outfit designed by Vikram Phadnis to this party."

I wouldn't be comfortable with dressing up like that AND I would NOT be comfortable if someone else is dressed SO hot in front of me either.
The hotness factor is personal and must be kept that way. (plus -i'm no grannie) lol

Doesnt matter if they are Muslim and can/cant show body parts, their clothes are just ugly and trashy.

I'm not concerned about revealing or covering skin. I think you can look classy in more revealing clothes and trashy even when covered up.
There's too much going on and it's not aesthetically pleasing to my eye. One design with a nice complement may have ended up nice. This, not so much.
