I managed to watch Amreeka Chalo for the last couple of weeks and I must say I’m truly very disappointed. The story may be good, but the direction and the sense of humour (or whatever you may want to call the non-sense) is horrible!
At the same time I’m shocked to see people like Moin Akhtar and Saadia Imaam work in such a horrible drama.
Very disappointed!

Moin Akhtar is in it? I saw like 2 minutes of it and switched the channel. It indeed sucks.

i saw that show for like 5 minz .. man its HORRIBLE by true mean .. i swear .. i wonder how cud one waste his money on such a lame shiz

I am with you all on this one. The thing thats really pissed my off was the fact that they are all so wrong about all they show as bad things associated to life in U.S.A. The immigration attorney (Moin Akhtar) knows jack. The young guy is working in a good job but he doesn't have any legal status???? His green card was filed 5 years ago and yet he was asking Moin Akhtar about how his labor is going to be approved and who will sponsor it etc. The whole thing is based on speculation. Only if they had asked some one who had gone through all this in real, they would have known its nothing even close to the non-sense they are showing.

i watched one episode and i hated it. i hate pakistani humor it so lame and pathetic. they always show how pakistani people have a hard time living in the U.S, but they never show families like my family and many other pakistani families in the u.s. who don't have a hard live in the u.s. its a one sided story

i wanna make a drama w/ a "normal" desi family living in america.. there not super rich not dirt poor.. just normal. and the relatives in pakistan will be the weird ones.. ( cus in paki dramas the american relatives are portrayed horribly most of the time)
