Amores Perros

I just wrote a big long review of this fim intricately disecting the finer points of this mexican blockbuster but when I typed it all up and tried to post it the damn software had logged me out and I lost everything. I’m not typing the whole ****ing thing out again now, so maybe later when I’m not so pissed off.

You should also give Like Chocolate for Water a chance if you liked your first Mexican film.

why are all of you becoming gay like Romanand ThappaR with posting reviews of every “psuedo-kitch” film you see. I just saw Kal ho Na ho…you don;t see me writing reviews of that glorious masterpiece. :hoonh:

Shove off with your Bolly crap mats. This is an exclusive thread for those who can appreciate movies that you might never want to watch again but whose memorable characters will linger on whilst a year down the line most of us will probably think Van Helsig is a cheap supermarket lager. :snooty:

Well the characters were brilliant...I especially liked the thuggish older brother who kept getting it wrong...his stupid expressions when he was getting a severe beating were a highlight. The film was very gritty and violent though. Not gratuitous just very graphic and realistic.

Maybe a bit too bleak for my tastes but the bloke who directed it is talented for sure.

Don't watch it if you like dogs either. There's a truckload of canine corpses by the time it reaches the end.

That's definitely a great movie! Character wise, the old hitman's character is very different. His love for dogs and his profession. The last scene is amazing where he changes his whole outlook and leaves with the dog. He's psychotic but at the same time compassionate. Very well acted.

Did your review go something like this Xtreme:

“s’about dogz innit”

:hehe:

I agree good movie though, Inarritu is who tarantino wishes he was.

It's a dogy dog world. Reminds me of many things dogy.

That reminds me I saw scooby doo the movie the other day, the hue and balance used in the screen prints was amazing and the cut edits in the second half of the movie simply devine, looking forward eagerly to the second instalment.

Thapie, how about the tail? You've said enough about the tail.
