Re: Ammies and Papasss plzz help me

Maybe its just a phase...try to put baby night llights in his crib or around it where he only he can see them....they are especially designed for babies...maybe that will help...or just put a lamp on his crib side...

Good Luck...

TC.......

Re: Ammies and Papasss plzz help me

Ya, it might be a phase, my nephew wakes up his mom at 3 am and asks her to give him his toys and books… so maybe it is a phase all kids go through… sorry I don’t have any sugestions for you but ya good luck! :flower2:

Re: Ammies and Papasss plzz help me

lol...this sounds way too familiar.. my son went thru that phase, and its so difficult for the parents on how to handle the situation. Ahmed, my son he used to cry so hard that my mom would come running to our room and would say "what did you do to him?" and i would be like nothing just turned off the lights.. but really we would play with him untill he would feel sleepy....you really cant do anything else especially at that age...although once he gets a little older i would say you really would have to just let him cry..it will be hard but...its for the best.

Also dont let him take naps closer to night time....Ahmed would take a nap later in the afternoon and would get up around 6:00 or 6:30 and i think that was the main reason he didn't feel like sleeping around 8 or 9.

A night light really helps also...just turn that on and read him a book. whenever i read Ahmed a book he gets sleepy...it just makes me think what type of a student he will be :D...

well best of luck... :)

Re: Ammies and Papasss plzz help me

this is why u should let ur baby get used to sleeping both in the dark and in the light right from the begining.
Make them sleep in a lighted room during the day and a dark one at night so that they can tell the difference between night and day.
My daughter (4 months)..takes 2 short naps during the day...and sleeps throughout the night...wont get up till 6:30 ish am.

Re: Ammies and Papasss plzz help me

Most people (read baRay booRhay) blame it on teething.. but some doctors don't buy that theory... little ones that size are usually on auto pilot.. which means don't worry.. keep feeding and changing them on time and don't really worry about their sleep patterns cuz they're gonna change them several times before they settle onto something.

Try a routine like giving the kid a batch before bedtime every night.. that prepares the kid for the downtime.. make sure to leave him during the day to get his crawling done.. he needs to get this physical exercise so by the end of the day he's so freaking tired he won't have time for these antics and will just doze off..
