Hey all,
I’m just wondering if anyone knows what ammar bale is called in english, google was useless! It’s like a fungus type thing that grows on bareia (tree). If anyone can tell me what it is in english, a million thank yous!!!

Umm no it's not that, it's like yellow stringy stuff that get caught up in the leaves...

Ah bugger. I assumed it was since I think it was a conversation about mistletoe around Christmas and a google search told me it meant Mistletoe.

Basically you get mustard oil or olive oil and put the amar bel in it and let it infuse for a few days and then rub the oil into your scalp like normal. It's an old punjabi remedy, it's worked quite well for some of my family members and you can find it anywhere in punjab/sindh, but impossible to get hold of in the UK! as it's a parasite basically!
