What is it about our films that attract people from all over the world. And with so much passion.
Continental Airlines took special care of us in and out of Houston. Checking in, security, exclusive lounge, golf cart to the gate, the works. I thank the driver of the cart as I get off to enter the gate. He keeps looking at me. He is black. I wonder with some apprehension. He gets down and gently asks me -
“You Amitabh Bachchan ?”
I nod.
A broad grin occupies his entire face.
“I knew the moment I saw you walk it was you ! I say to myself its the same walk. Man ! I am so delighted. I am from Nigeria. We see all your films from when we were so small. How are you. How is Dharmendra. Man ! What a day for me ! Keep well and make many more movies !!”
It is the simplicity. The glow in the eyes. The smile that suddenly comes up on the face. The change in their activity that they are engrossed in. That plead for an autograph and or a photograph. Thats all. Thats all they ever want. They are the people who make us. That get so happy and content with just a hand shake. They give us recognition and love. They fill venues at our concerts. They travel miles to see our films and cherish them years after. They are the fans. They become like our extended family. They are each one of you that read this. They are the ones that shall respond. With gratitude and affection and suggestion and criticism. They build our worth.
To them we need to pay obeisance.
I connect with you in my small gesture of that. And you give me more each day. I am blessed.

I' ve read it and I really enjoyed it of course he goes on some of his conceded tangents but then again who doesn't in their own blog. Hes good at descriptive writing.

may be and may be not.
...cuz blogs really dont require a plot. it is simply a flow of your thoughts.
btw blogs are very in these days and with the increasing development of Web 2.0 , if these agent of change (actors) wont keep up with the technology their name might be eroded and only left to embellish the history books.
...so they might hire someone to write for them but have to present central theme of it. infact i strongly believe that technology is like a math about which u get to know more through experiencing it first hand.
