Somebody send me this email, that in Hindi movie “God Tusi Great ho”
Amitabh is acting in God’s role / may be just his voice used
Well I didn’t watch the movie and I really don’t know is that truth or not ?
If anybody has watched the movie ?
What if this is true. Do you think that this should be allowed for films?
I think this is totally wrong, moderanization in the world really breaks too many social and religious values
India is a secular sovereign state , what control you have over what kind of movies are made there ? The max you can do is , not to watch it.
There are many movies in which role of God has been played by humans , then there is a term Godfather in dictionary would you start a petition to get it ejected from dictionary. What about Christian calling Jesus portrayal of God ,you want to start a crusade against them.
Being Muslims is not a license to go and start controlling lives and believes of others. Quran and Hadees emphasizes taking care of ones owns actions and morals.
Morgan Freeman played god in Bruce Almighty. In one scene when he tells Bruce (Jim Carry) that he wants some timeoff, Bruce says "you can't take a break, you are god". Morgan Freeman says "Yes, I can. What you think happened during dark ages".
Morgan Freeman played god in Evan Almighty as well.
We need to stop watching movies altogether I guess, or stop criticizing. Amitabh is not a muslim, he’s an actor. What about all the muslim actors who act in scenes which are non-islamic. If something is bothering us and we have no control over it, we should stop associating ourselves with it, and move on
I notice you call A.Bachan an actor … not a muslim. It is like acting is a religion all by itself. And I kinda agree.
All these actors get married to one another irrespective of their faiths … that must mean their acting careers have greater rights over them.
I’m quite sad that A.Bachan is not a Muslim … I still have not got over it when I found out that he was not after watching the film Coolie years back. I was 6 years old. His acting was so convincing I thought he was a Muslim … someone corrected me sternly and said that he was Hindu … but today you sister have topped it … He is REALLY an ACTOR !!!

It's his badnaseebi that he never became a muslim.
Brother Psyah.
I didn't mean to say it in that context although your perspective is pretty interesting too! I was merely stating that he is a non-muslim actor.
I have not seen Coolie except for the part where he injured himself and the entire country prayed for his recovery because he almost died.
I saw a whole Bachchan family Interview a few years back in which Jaya Bachchan said he went for a few seconds and then he came back, so technically he did die for a few seconds.

I didnt meant any insult . The thing is i just didnt like his way of thinking.
I never thought even in my weirdest dream that X person should be hindu so that would be great. now i am reasoning should i think like pysch?
I would never have mind if he would have said that he wish bacchan was a pakistani .but dragging religion everywhere..not good.
Have not seen this one. But I have seen Bruce Almighty. A good film actualy. Dont look at the charactors look at the message behind it. I think that the message was good.

JazakAllah khair Mirch bhai
It is true I meant no offence. I mean for sure the Hindus probably criticise their actors on religious grounds just like Muslims do theirs.
What is the big deal? Hindus believe Krishna Gopal is god and over three million other gods, why is it so surprising now they want to make Amitabh Bachan into god as well?
The problem is some stupid Muslims who are in love with bollywood and music culture. These are the biggest losers and disgrace to our religion. Especially our women they love to watch Indian movies. Pakistan is slowly losing its Islamic identity thanks to secularization. Music is haram and watching womens dance is haram, but Pakistan government is not outlawing music or bollywood/lollywood movies. This is why people of Pakistan are suffering so much, this is their rightful punishment from Allah:
Inna Allaha la yughayyiru ma biqawmin hatta yughayyiroo ma bianfusihim
Verily, Allah does not change the condition of a people until they change the condition of their souls (ar-Ra'd 13:11)
