i dnt get what all the fuss is about amitabh batchan he annoys me sooo much.

I think its cos hes made so many films and has gone thru the decades and he was a really good actor when he was younger. He's still a good actor but yeh theres a lot of hype.

he is a very good actor. there's no question about that. but a bit overexposed. which sorta takes the attention away from his good acting skills because the viewer is too busy thinking "what?...him AGAIN!"
but im happy he's taking up new and more challenging roles. i cant take anymore of the rich but sad abba roles.

You know that’s exactly what I was thinking whether SRK would do roles liek amitabh and go like a crazy budha.
Amitabh was a great actor but these crazy budha roles just dont suit him and I am also sick and tired of seeing him appearing in every single movie!

I think he was also kinda annoyin in KANK too.. in the beginning where he cant stop acting like a casanova..

There's absolutely no doubt that Amitabh is a great actor. However, I think the reason people are getting tired of him is that the type of role's he's doing now just don't suit him. His role's in his older movies (70's/80's) as well as some more recent like late 90's suit him down to the ground - whether it be wronged son/player/father etc.
BUT when I saw his role in KANK I felt physically SICK - yuk!!!
I haven't seen Cheeni Kum, but if the issue is dealt with tastefully then as a good actor he will portray that.
I think some of his role's are making him look CHEAAAAAAP!!
I mean come on..."Sexy Sam, Sexy Sam, Wham bham wham bham...thankyou sam"????!

I think he was really good in Baghan.. coz that was a role suitin his age.. n that was realistic in ma opinion.. these dayz hez playin cupido/casanova all the time.. so not realistic..

He should retire gracefully. He has nothing to prove anymore. One regret for himwill be not going Hollywood in his prime. I hope he isn't thinking of sticking around and doing boogie woogie with Aishwarya's future children.
