Well I could n’t find his 205 but I will keep looking for it on BBC MB etc. I managed to find the clip where Sohail lost his cool and was bowled next ball by Prasad (QF against India 1996)

Me thinks you might have to ask Aamir Sohail himself, but even then I feel a bit suspicious as to whether he can provide you with his own evidence. :p

I watched it live on BBC, it was a brilliant knock and one of the commentators on BBC said that Amir will never score a double century again. How right he was.!!!!!

The good thing about the innings was the pace he maintained. He didn't take too much time to score it. I think Pakistan was batting first and it was the first day of the test match. He scored his century around lunch or probably before lunch and was done before the end of the day.
These days it would look ordinary, but 14 years ago test cricket was still played in traditional style and not like ODI's :)

It was Geoff Boycott who said that and if im not mistaking he said " it was a great innings and we should enjoy it as much as we want coz its not happening again"
Amir in that series at LOrds had a talk about scoring a big hundred with Ranjan Madugalle too, and accoring to amir that was one insipiration too.

for some reason it seems although Amir stuck it out but the bowling also seemed lack lusture.
I am not trying to undermine his innings, but that was not a really venemous attack. How Javaid hit 5 successive fours is some indication of that as well. The only good deliveries were the ones that got Mujtaba caught at point and Amir clean bowled.
