his chichori harkatayn are loved by majority of our public and hence the rating ! none of the hundreds of people in the audience have the guts to criticise his bakwas. I saw a clip today where he was flirting with a girl while her father was sitting next to her.who's to be blamed? ek timely phainti par jaye tau he might think twice before passing personal comments on anyone in future.
I guess they were concentrating of winning the free gift :D

Why does no one like.him? He has more.religious knowledge than all our beans put together he has a big personality and is trying to get on with the audience. People relate to him. Unlike the dry juniad jumshed. OK so maybe junaid is a good Muslim.etc.but as a TV.host? He's dull as dish water and needs to lighten up. He's not in.a mosque he's hosting a programme. Just because amir liaqat has seen a Indian film or swore once doesn't make him less human.than us. We all are imperfect.

What good is all that "religious knowledge" if the person in question is making his millions off of humiliating people on stage, pulling cheap publicity stunts and "giving" babies away? Is that what memorizing all those Hadith teaches him? Is that what he has gleaned from all his religious training? That it's okay to exploit the lower class, act like a circus ringmaster, all for the sake of ratings and self glory? This guy needs a lesson or two about humility and humbleness.
And as far as his leaked videos go, it was not just cursing...I saw one (will try to find the clip and post) from his Alim Online days where he had another maulvi on who received a question asking if it was permissible for a women to commit suicide to save herself from being raped...this scum Amir Liaquat kept cracking up and making the maulvi laugh too by making crass jokes while he was trying to answer the question. Even the maulvi was squirming and asking him to cut it out.
Like most other high profile media types, he's a vulture, plain and simple.

I agree wth khati and its not important to know religious knowledge only, practice should be there, else I think this knowledge is of zero importance and I actually doubt k he got any religious knowledge, rata ratya bolna is not knowledge

And Nadz, the difference between him (and any other media celebrity/telejournalist/show host etc) and us is that neither you nor I nor the average Joe Shmo is on national display, garnering the trust of millions watching, by professing to be a learned Alim. We don't have a title of Minister of Religious Affairs associated with our name. We are not influencing unsuspecting folks with our words or actions. Like it or not, these people are held to higher standards and should conduct themselves more responsibly. It has nothing to do with double standards or perfection or watching Indian movies.
