A question on burqa/hijab requirements

Quran says "There's no compulsion in religion." Quran prescribes certain rules of conduct. It is up to the individual whether to follow these or not. Just like rules about alcohol consumption are violated among Muslims every day, so are the rules about burqa/hijab. No one is allowed to enforce the rules by coercion.

What makes you think Muslim women are oppressed because of hijab? In fact, a majority of them chose to wear hijab of their own free will, and because they feel comfortable with it.
