The contestant was not disturbed by it, but it looked like Amir was trying to get the stone down his throat ... Make him chunder on live TV ... Perhaps? He seems to like to force people to do things they don't want to do ... I would love to be his contestant ... Then punch his lights out if he over-stepped his mark ... Sorry for being callus ... But I think that single act would make me a very popular person.
Back on topic ... I don't feel sorry for anyone ... Except that poor mango ... Us ka kya kasoor tha?

Yes it was silly act.
But if one really looks at at with another video about 2:50 min it was a contest to eat mango as fast as one can.
What Amir did in this video is instead of the person himself eating, he fed the person. The camera was pointed on him at wrong angle to give wrong impression.
I don’t think people have seen a lot of contests around the world or have seen it but not so much bothered where people do a whole lot of sillier acts to win some money or reward.
Come on people, relax. It was a TV show.
Not sophisticated but there are other things to worry about.

The point is he is hosting an iftar transmission not some silly contest show. The host in question is called mazhabi scholar,either he drop his title or start acting little sane …seriously ramzan transmission m!azak bana di hay in chichoroun nay

I see all the rich and famous GSians condemning the greedy behaviour of the faqeers of the country. They fail to realize that most people are not as privileged as them. Their faqeer-pan shows at these game shows. The faqeer-pan of the rich shows in private meetings and is more subtle and sophisticated. 
Coming to game shows, I wanted to comment on Fahad Mustafa’s show on ARY. His charming personality makes that show fun to watch. He hugs, caresses, and kisses everybody and their mother, it seems. 
Comes across as a very loving person. And this loves extends to men, women, children, young and old alike. I don’t know if it is an act.
Maybe MQ can tell us if this is a partcularly Sindhi trait ? @muqawwee123

First of all, if you are poor, you don’ need to sell you soul. Ghareeb is not equal to bheek manga Faqeer. jitna safaid poshi ka bharam ghareeb main hota hai, wo Banks se baRe baRe qarze lekar haRap karne walon main bhi nahin hota 
What do you think these participants are ghareeb? Bhai Jaan this show is conducted at regent Plaza and karachiites knows wahan se ik aadh hi public bus guzarti hai. You have to spend taxi / rikshaw fare of at least few hundreds to reach there from ghareeb areas like Lalu Khet / New Karachi or Korangi. Regent Plaza is on Shahrae Faisal and is surrounded by posh areas of Clifton, DHA, Sindhi Muslim Housing Society, Bahadurabad, etc… jahan ke flats main rehne wale bhi kam az kam 20 se 25 hazar ka rent dete hain… 5-6 hazar ke to pani ke tanker dalwate hain.
So, I disagree that participants of these shows are ghareeb.. They might be dil ke ghareeb. Personally, I know this guy from our neighbor who took his family to this show last year. He is just a clerk level at some municipal organisation, but Hadha min Fazl e rabbi se kamai gai daulat ke badalat achi khasi jaidaad aur gaRiyon ka malik hai. he got tickets from his sources in MQM 
Ab aate hain fahad ke chipku pan pe… people of Sindh are loving and they have a customs to make guests feel at home (like all other cultures in surrounding). I haven’t seen his show, so can’t comment whether he is depicting cultural values, good upbringing by his parents or he is just being chipkoo.

You should check his show out a little to see his performance. I think he is doing a good job.

The format is charba. But his charming personality has made the show quite watchable and fun overall. The public though …

FYI. Fahad show is not a Ramzaan show, but airs every night during Ramzan.

wo kia kehte hain ingrezi main... oonche ghore se utro. I was talking about Amir Liaquat's show. Why they play Fahad's show every night in Ramadan, if its not related to Ramadan. I think PTV is doing good job, with their late night Ramadan program with Sidra Iqbal Lateef and Ali Haider.. At least, they talk about relevant topics.

Since when some fun stuff and jokes become prohibited for anything related to being Muslim?
Muslims and Islam is under such scrutiny its not even funny.
Let people have a little fun as long as it does not hurt anyone deeply or goes against overall message.
There is a hadith where Aisha RA smeared halwa on other wife of the Prophet SAW (Saudah RA?) and the prophet SAW said to Saudah RA now in return you can do it to Aisha RA. (Just one example for now which I can think of)
One can get exact excerpt of hadith but point is why Muslims or Islam is considered or made so rigid and be criticized in every way?
He is not a mazhabi scholar. People call him one. Its their problem.
He denies not denies still no big issue.
There are people who criticize Muslims and Islam every day and every hour and then there are Muslims who criticize themselves for every little reasons. its a never ending business. :)

^It doesn't matter that he's nota mazhabi scholar. And Muslims are allowed to have fun. But this is tasteless humor and behavior and anyone (mazhabi or non-Mazhabi, muslim, or non-Muslim) can display tasteless humor.
